The book is divided into three parts. Part 1 discusses the geology of the crystalline rocks and their regional distribution while the sedimentary basins constitute the subject of Part 2. Part 3 presents the mineral resources of Nigeria, their geological environment, mode of occurrence, localities and where possible their estimated reserves. Nigeria in the southwestern Nigeria covering three different states, as a nation is abundantly blessed with solid mineral resources, namely Lagos, Ogun and Ondo 3 shown in figure 2.
