I will put a proper hinge and catch on it, but it works for now. I use hydraulic hose for the blast pipe and havent had one wear out since I started using it over a year ago.

If you want less control (blast bigger areas) Harbor Freight or Post Tools (most any tool selling catalog or store) have sand/bead blasting guns for about 20.00 (just for the gun which is a suction type vs a pressure type). Just my 2 worth. Mar 02, 2014 Probably ran about 4 pounds of baking soda in total to do this. I do reuse the blasting material but I screen it to 80 or 100 mesh each time. The reused material ends up being a mix of dolomite and Baking soda which cuts at about the same as baking soda alone. As you reuse the grains get rounded so they are not as abrasive.
